A Japanese "Kyary Pamyu Pamyu" was born on Jan. 29, 1993 in Tokyo.The formal name "Caroline Charonplop Kyary Pamyu Pamyu"Kyary Pamyu Pamyu attracted attention with her individual Blog, and has been active as a model in "Aomoji-Kei" :girls who keep to their own style, and never thought of flirtatious fashion. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is known for a charismatic personality that represent the culture of Harajuku. In August 2011, the year she graduated a high school, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu debuted with the first mini-album "Moshi Moshi Harajuku" produced by Yasutaka Nakata who is also known as his unit "capsule". A lead song "PONPONPON" in the album became a big hit around the world. The promotional video has been watched more than 30 million on YouTube. At present, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is receiving plenty of attention as the symbol of "Kawaii" ("Cuteness" in Japanese.) in the world. The first album "Pamyu Pamyu Revolution" released on 23 May 2012 won the 1st place immediately in the chart of "Oricon" in Japan. The album CD sold 200,000 copies and it is still selling well. On October 17, 2012 the latest song "Fashion Monster" went on sale. On the following November, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu came through the first ever one-man concert in "Nippon Budokan". Then, just in February 2013, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is launching a one-man concert tour "100%KPP" in 10 countries with20 performances including Japan.
